Easter 2011

We spent Easter with my mom, sister and grandparents.
The eggs below are my Grandpa's handiwork - read closely.

Welcome to my grandparents' house in south Minneapolis.

MaryKay and I hid eggs so Aaron and my grandpa could find them.

Then while they hid them for us to find, we played in the basement :)

I found an awesome hat down there!

Aaron got his plane stuck on the roof of the garage and the wire.
Factoid: the house on the left is my grandparents house of 50+ years.
The house on the right was my great-grandparents' house until
1999. I grew up seeing both sets of grandparents quite often.
I have many, many fond memories attached to these houses.

Aaron hit himself in the face with his plane, scratching his glasses.
Then he hit my mom in the face. Then he quit flying them...

He was hardly provoked to make this face. Love him.

Brooke-time!

Bonnie left Brooke in the Cities for the week between
my birthday and Easter at the request of my dad.
We got to spend an evening with them at my mom's house.
Brooke loved my camera case like Ava does.

And she loved this Hello Kitty lunch box with pompoms inside.

turning 28

I turned 28. Woah.
We went to my mom's house for lunch on my birthday.
We celebrated my grandpa's 85th birthday as well as
my sister's boyfriend's 30th birthday (all in April)

My dad bought me a new camera so Aaron tried to figure it out.

It was cold outside but sunny inside :)

After lunch, we headed home to change for the Campus Crusade
for Christ Fellowship Dinner downtown. The Tillmans, Stewards
and Conways joined our table for the evening. We had a great time!

Then we went back to the Tillmans house for cookies, ice cream,
pizza and Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in their
AWESOME theater room! Thanks Tillmans for hosting!

My sister also bought the DVD for me!

It was an awesome birthday! Birthday month continues...

goodbye Neffs

Our friends' time here came to a close the weekend of
my birthday. We ran to Barnes & Noble to buy Ticket to Ride.

Aaron and the Neffs are pretty good at it.
I am not. But I made an effort...

After Ticket to Ride, we got ice cream!

Ice cream and some Arrested Development = awesome!

It was a fun evening with friends!

Twins game fun with Aaron & Katie

We've had friends we met with New Staff training through
Campus Crusade who've been in town for about a week in a half.
We took them to a Twins game on the greatest night - weather wise.

there was this old guy who started dancing during some down
time in the game. he made the jumbotron and subsequently LOTS
of fans - people roared when he was on the screen! it was awesome!
