the last monday

Today is Monday, February 28th, 2011.
It is my last Monday working odd hours (I work 12:30-9pm today)
I've grown to like many of the people I work with.
I was VERY grateful for the job the Lord provided last August.
The girl pictured below was grateful and ready to start anew.

In another week, we'll take a new 'first day of school' photo
of a girl who's excited to work the same hours as her husband.
She'll be off on a new adventure, off carpooling to work
and ready to learn about insurance and pension sales.
She'll be equally grateful to the Lord for providing an
opportunity for a new challenge, a new way to have quality
time with her family and friends. Today I cherish
Jeremiah 29:11 because I know the Lord has plans for me.
I know His plan is good, to give me hope and a future.

Purpose of purple

I don't really care for purple normally. My favorite color is blue.
However, the color purple has been sweeping our small group.
There are currently 3 couples in our small group who are
expecting babies soon. Recently one of those couples found out
their little girl (who's 20 weeks along) has Turner Syndrome.
I don't know anything about it other than it's bad.
Doctor's don't expect her to live much longer.
Joey's mom made her blog purple so I'm borrowing that
idea too - I think it's a cool way to honor them.
They've discovered Kaylee Hope, their little girl, loves purple.

He's been updating about their situation ever since finding out.
When you see the purple here, please pray for
Joey, Jamie, Kaylee Hope and their 12-mo old twins.

We're still looking at houses even though we won't likely buy

houses??

I'm not sure what started us house-hunting but we have.
We are in a lease for another 16ish months but we've found
a couple of that are cheap, which have seen and gotten the bug.
We are trusting the Lord that if this is the time we should buy
that the doors that need to open will open and those that
should close, will close. That being said, we are looking.
The one below is near if not at the top of our likes-list.
We're seriously lusting after this house...
