the one with a crocheting weekend

Mom asked how her blanket was coming for Christmas.
That's a legitimate question:) And it just so happened that the weekend
after Thanksgiving was a free one so we decided
to have a big, crochet-n-movie full weekend.

Here's part of mom's blanket...

and Katie and Cass made chili - great on a chilly day (haha)

so we worked and watched movies...but then... we (actually I) got loopy... photo-opp!
of course its a good idea to make Oreo-monocles and hook-pipes
in honor of Frosty the Snowman
(although we don't look at all like Frosty, oops)
and Cass turned into a crochet monster... ahhhh!...but we normal'd out in the end
these are dear friends :)
